OUR STORY

Elyssa Hope Lydia was born in 2004. She was obsessed with babies from a few months of age. She grew up, always with a doll under her arm, to be a natural baby whisperer, wonderful Godmother and big sister to 7 siblings.

Tragically, Elyssa became very unwell with complex PTSD and sadly she lost all of her hope. She passed away from mental ill health in November 2023 aged only 19.

In Elyssa’s memory and using her meaningful name we want to offer the hope, that she lost, to her community. We also want to show love and provide dignity for those who are struggling.

There is a Christian foundation to the charity and we want to shine God’s light into the lives of others, demonstrating God’s heart for everyone.

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love”. 1 Corinthians 13:13
